Max Ryman was born in England in 1943 and moved to Ireland 11 years ago. He is a self taught artist and paints in acrylics. He has adopted a humorous style with a farming influence. He has also recently taken up the craft of pyrogrophy (burning designs on wood) which is also proving very popular. The designs are various and include ships, birds and chess boards. More of his designs and paintings can be seen on his face book and blog. And soon he will be developing a web site where more of his items can be seen
