About

The craft workers featured on this website represent some of the excellent quality and variety of arts and crafts that can be found in our region.

The Cavan Monaghan Crafts Network was established in 1999 as part of the overall Craft Development Programme.

Our aims are to:
• Generate awareness of the variety and quality of arts and crafts in the regions
• Support equally of all members of the Network, the amateur as well as the professional
• Encourage members to participate in training workshops
• Reduce the ‘isolation’ factor of the working artist
• Organise and support local and national craft fairs and events
• Provide information about relevant resources for members
• Organise craft related training programmes
• Arrange site visits to successful craft enterprises
• Develop retail opportunities for members, locally, national & international.
The Cavan Monaghan Crafts Network will regularly review its objectives and performance to meet the needs and requirements of our members.
