It is against such a rich and varied backdrop that the Cavan Monaghan Craft Development Programme was established the primary goal being to provide professional support and training services to artists and craft workers in the two counties. It also aims to promote the development and awareness of arts and crafts in the region.

The ethos is one of working together and learning from each other.
